We can’t let Labour ignore and forget Stoke-on-Trent, writes Jack.
Labour want to ignore and forget how Stoke-on-Trent voted in the EU referendum.
That’s no surprise. Labour have ignored and forgotten the needs of our city for far too long.
This time Stoke-on-Trent has got the chance to vote for something different.
I’m part of the new team now running the Council – after years and years of Labour failure.
Labour allowed crime and anti-social behaviour to get out of hand. I’m making sure the local police patrol our city and town centres properly to crack down on street drinking.
Labour did nothing to stop our roads getting grid-locked. I’m getting Joiners Square roundabout rebuilt to cut jams. Money secured to improve roads near the station and for extra lanes near the Sixth form college.
Labour failed on jobs. I’ve secured the money for us to become an Enterprise Zone – delivering opportunities for 9,000 new jobs. Like the ones coming at DPD.
I’m the only candidate in this election who will give total backing to the Prime Minister’s plan to make a success of Brexit – AND who is delivering a plan to bring jobs and investment to our communities.
