MP Launches Campaign to Improve GP Services

As we mark the 70th birthday of our NHS, Jack Brereton MP has launched his campaign to see improved GP and primary care services in our communities for Stoke-on-Trent South.

Bid for Transforming Cities Fund

Today I wrote to the Secretary of State for Transport to support Stoke-on-Trent City Council's bid for millions of pounds to improve our railway station and other transport links in our city.

 

Jack and local councillor host Meir Hay litter pick

Jack Brereton, MP for Stoke-on-Trent South, and Cllr Craig Beardmore, city councillor for Meir Hay, today hosted a litter pick with local volunteers in Meir Hay.

 

Fifteen volunteers picked up a total of 30 bags of litter in the Amison Street area, despite freezing temperatures.

MPs visit Stoke-on-Trent to discuss Cares in Work

Jack Brereton, MP for Stoke-on-Trent South, and other MPs from the Work and Pensions Select Committee, today visited the Bridge Centre in Birches Head to speak to carers from the city.

Longton granted Heritage Action Zone

Jack has welcomed Historic England’s decision to designate Longton one of eighteen Heritage Action Zones nationally. Jack wrote to Historic England in the summer to support the City Council’s application for Longton to be made a HAZ.
