Cold weather payments triggered in Stoke-on-Trent South

Eligible people living in ST3 and ST4 postcodes will receive cold weather payments for the period 7th Feb-13th Feb, as a result of the alert being triggered on the 8th Feb.

Cold Weather Payments are made to recipients of selected benefits. To trigger the payments, the average temperature at a specified weather station must be recorded as, or forecast to be, 0°C or below for seven consecutive days. The DWP’s Cold Weather Payment pages provide further information for claimants. The DWP also publishes statistics on the current Cold Weather Payment season here.

£25 will be paid to eligible residents within Stoke-on-Trent South constituency living in the postcode district(s) listed above.
