Police numbers surge for Stoke-on-Trent

The Government has today announced that Staffordshire Police will receive an extra 90 police officers as part of its drive to increase police numbers and combat crime nationally.


MP announces High Street Award winners

Jack Brereton, Member of Parliament for Stoke-on-Trent South, has today announced the winners of this year’s High Street Awards, which asked the public to name their favourite small businesses in Fenton, Longton, and Meir.


Injunctions welcomed against antisocial behaviour in Meir

Stoke-on-Trent South MP Jack Brereton has welcomed the granting of full civil injunctions against eight youths responsible for a spate of disorder and antisocial behaviour in the Meir area.  The court's award of full injunction follows eight interim injunctions granted earlier this year.

Jack raises Kashmir concerns with Foreign Secretary
