MP announces High Street Award winners

Jack Brereton, Member of Parliament for Stoke-on-Trent South, has today announced the winners of this year’s High Street Awards, which asked the public to name their favourite small businesses in Fenton, Longton, and Meir.

 

Injunctions welcomed against antisocial behaviour in Meir

Stoke-on-Trent South MP Jack Brereton has welcomed the granting of full civil injunctions against eight youths responsible for a spate of disorder and antisocial behaviour in the Meir area.  The court's award of full injunction follows eight interim injunctions granted earlier this year.

Jack raises Kashmir concerns with Foreign Secretary

Jack Brereton MP has welcomed Health Minister, Stephen Hammond MP, to Stoke-on-Trent South to discuss plans for a new healthcare centre to serve Longton.

Jack critical of Meadow Lane development decision

Jack has today stated his criticism of the decision of The Planning Inspectorate to grant at appeal planning permission for 227 new houses off Meadow Lane in Trentham, contrary to the City Council’s earlier refusal of permission.
