I have just been to Buckingham Palace and accepted His Majesty The King’s invitation to form a government in his name.

Following the virtual call with Councillors recently to update them on progress regarding the Stoke- Leek line project, Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley and Stoke-on-Trent South MP, Jack Brereton have issued the following statement:

Since my last column, our beloved late Queen, Elizabeth II passed away. Like everyone across the country and in Stoke-on-Trent, I was saddened to hear this news.

I learned with deep sorrow of the death of our Sovereign, Queen Elizabeth.

Over the summer I was pleased to be able to escape London and come home to spend more time with my constituents and family. Whilst I like to spend recess periods keeping busy in Stoke-on-Trent, this summer has certainly had me on my feet.
