Jack has launched a campaign to find the ‘Unsung Heroes’ working to help others in his constituency during the Covid-19 outbreak.
The ‘Unsung Heroes’ awards are not a competition, but an opportunity to recognise all individuals and organisations who have provided support and comfort to vulnerable members of the community over the past few months.
Anyone can nominate any organisation or individual who has been working for the residents of Stoke-on-Trent South, and who they believe deserves greater recognition.
Nominations can be completed here.
Jack said, “The real story of the pandemic in Stoke-on-Trent has been just how many people have been willing to sacrifice their own time, and to venture out to help other members of our community.
“Many of the vulnerable people and key workers I have spoken to have been thrilled at the support they have received, and I think it is only right that the people who have provided this receive some formal recognition. They have truly gone the extra mile, and this is simply an opportunity for the rest of us to say ‘thank you’”.
