In the last few weeks we have seen stabbings in Meir and Fenton. Thankfully these incidents are relatively rare here and the fact this shocks us is perhaps a good thing for our city. However, it is essential that shocking crimes like this are treated with the seriousness they deserve. 

Winter social care funding boost welcomed

Jack, and Deputy Leader of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Cllr Abi Brown, have welcomed the Government’s announcement of how much additional funding local authorities in England will receive to ease pressures in social care services over winter, including £1,331,896 for Stoke-on-Trent.

Jack campaigns to end Monkey Dust scourge

Jack has recently been lobbying Victoria Atkins, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Crime, Safeguarding and Vulnerability at the Home Office, to have Monkey Dust reclassified as a Class A drug.
